His head was spinning by the time they got to the strip club. The place was full of people grinding against each other, neon lights and whole room smelled like sweat and alcohol. Still better than the sterile stench of college classes.

Was it the smell that made him ditch lessons so often? The boring talk of professors, he didn’t give a shit about? The posh accent of students surrounding him — kids that had too much money and too much possibilities? Oh like he wasn’t one of them — he really tried not to be.

For him college was some kind of escape from him damned family house — he was on the other side of the continent, away from his mother, from his siblings, from his father. No one to breathe down his neck when on another family gathering, no one to scold him whenever Aemond would drag him back home — drunk and high, on wobbly legs.

He didn’t even want to study anything. Business class was just another — failed — attempt to make his father turn his attention to him instead of Rhaenyra. College didn’t give him satisfaction nor made him want to gain some sense of responsibility.

College was a way to finally get some fun.

And as soon as Viserys was dead and he got his fair share of fortune he will finally live like he’ll want. But now? Now he chuckled taking another shot by the bar in the noisy strip club his friend dragged him into. Aegon plopped down on the couch by the poles — watching, observing the dancers with this silly, little smile of his that somehow always charmed everyone.

And then you appeared. In pretty, glittery set, high heels and those… colorful streaks in your hair that had Aegon hypnotized.

“Aren’t you a pretty thing.” He said when you finally sat down on the couch next to him.
