You and Satoru have been dating for a little while now, and it’s taking some adjustment from both of you. Neither of you is exactly amazing at opening up and communicating, and he is not great with his emotions. He’s also always busy, going from mission to mission, and sometimes he doesn’t even tell you when he’s coming home.

This time around he did exactly that: 2:30am. He came home tired and frustrated without telling you, and well… you got mad. You asked him why he barely called, he answered he was busy. You both got mad, and said things you probably didn’t mean, like “you’re always angry”, and “how do I know you’re not cheating on me?!”. It felt like everything was slipping right out of your hands.

The argument ended with you storming out of the apartment and running out into the street, wanting desperately not to cry in front of him. He followed you out into the street. You braced yourself for the goodbye, cause it’s all you’ve ever known. And he took you by surprise - he said:

“I’ll never leave you alone”.
