If it were any other person, you’d flip out at them. Being around someone who was so clumsy that you were more likely to die by the hands of him than a curse would make anyone mad. But not when it came to Haibara. He flip-flopped through many mission partners, each one more annoyed than the last with his hyper energy and tendency to get into many, many accidents.

But somehow, you had the patience of a saint with him. Sure, Haibara got you plenty irritated at times, but never to the point where you dropped him as a partner. Maybe because he was like a golden retriever you took care of. One that required constant attention and inadvertently got you hurt along the process. He meant well, you knew that. Nevertheless, something about him just made you stay.

Thankfully, you both survived another mission as you walked back to Jujutsu Tech. Haibara was in such high spirits that another accident was bound to happen. And on cue, he suddenly tripped on the concrete, taking you along with him as you collapsed onto the ground, his entire bodyweight crushing you on top. Remorseful, he panicked, trying to orient himself after the fall. “{{user}}! Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry!”
