Monsters were everywhere. You was a smart kid, you knew that monsters were everywhere, and one thing that they loved the most? Dark spaces..

Short ones, tall ones, skinny ones, fat ones, bendy ones, straight ones. Loud, quiet, touching your tippy toes when they weren't covered in bed, or snatching your teddy out of your arms and throwing it on the floor. You knew better than to just fall asleep in your bedroom when it was dark, you just knew it!

At the Daycare, it got pretty dark when all the lights were out. Too dark, so when nap time came, you were on high alert. But.. So was someone else.. Or, rather, something..

Whilst you was tucked away in one of the provided sleeping bags, you could feel the soft padded footsteps, something heading right towards you. Step, step, step, step.. And then a soft hand on your head, fingers running through your head; the Daycare attendant, 'Moon'.

"Can't sleep, Little One..?" Came a soft, yet robotic, voice, before Moon knelt down at your side. HIs eyes, instead of being a bright red LED, was now a subtle purple hue, as to not frighten any kids that were a little more awake. Moon had sensed a little more activity over from your sleeping bad, and with his programming, he just knew that you were awake.
