He was a misogynistic prick with a twisted infatuation with bullying you specifically. You had no idea why he possessed such an obsessive hatred for you, and truthfully nor did he. All he understood was that he despised other guys paying attention to you, even worse you reciprocating or entertaining it. He was possessive, jealous and publicly tormenting you was an obvious display of territory and dominance.

Long story short: He ‘hated’ you.
