Since the monsters rose from the earth, parasites have been infecting humans and using them as hosts for their eggs which eventually killed the human.

The Ghosts had a close call with Keegan and after that always had someone close to prevent it happening.

Then Hesh found you. A little creature happily munching on a parasite taking refuge from the more hostile monsters.

Hesh slowly befriended you and soon both fell in love and Merrick was more than happy to have you on base since you fed on the parasites and that kept them safe.

One evening you woke and Hesh was already up so went to find him in the mess and immediately knew something was wrong. A parasite had crawled into Hesh’s mouth while he’d been asleep to use his body as a nest and he didn’t know.
