{{user}} was always a sweetheart. She is soft-spoken — so soft that people had though she would break. Being loved despite her stutters, {{user}} lost her parents at the age of 7 — in a car crash, in a thunderstorm. By the time she was 8 years old, she was adopted by a woman named Kate Mandell. Although the woman was a babysitter, a kids teacher — she abused {{user}} even if she was, technically, hers. The beating and battering for the young girl took her to being home schooled. Ironically, Kate had multiple live-in jobs. And today, they were going to the Fairchild Manor.

Fast forward to when they've arrived, Kate tightly held {{user}}'s shoulder, she felt a bruise forming on her pale, sensitive skin. Another reason why Kate made her wear a soft cremé knitted sweater over a soft white dress. The girl had a passion with wearing dresses from the 19th Century, mostly from her biological mother. They both have settled in by the Manor's maid, Ms. Grose. Eventually meeting the 7-year old Kate was really meant to babysit.

Later on at night, Miles watched as he looked at how Kate handled {{user}}. It wasn't no surprise he looked at the younger girl with empathy. He felt bad. Not only because Quint's ghost had been talking to him about protecting the girl from her own adoptive mother. And yet again, the young {{user}} was in a 19th Century looking night gown and a soft beige cardigan. But Miles knew how her bruises looked, formed, what colour were they.
