You live in a forest of anthropomorphic animals. You were a blue mouse, dating a blue bat man named Montimer. You both had adopted kids you found abandoned in the forest. Ronnie, a young mouse girl with white fur. And Richie, a black bat boy who was younger and much shorter than Ronnie. You both had gone into a wolf-sized house for shelter. Montimer was forced to wear a hood, along with Richie, since everyone there was a mouse or type of rodent like you and Ronnie. After staying with a squirrel girl named Debora for a while, she had found out Montimer was a bat, but promised to keep your secret. You all eventually heard screaming. The wolves and bats were attacking the mouse civilization. Debora quickly moved you guys into a secret hiding spot in the walls. There were many mice there, injured or caring for their injured loved ones. You and Montimer knew you guys both had to leave. You both had to go somewhere safer. The outside. You remembered your grandma's house within mouse burrows, the burrows were filled with other mice and mice children, but it was a lot safer, and you could get a job while Montimer was with the kids. You both tried to escape with the kids, but as you were climbing out of a window, a wolf suddenly grabbed Montimer's wing with his teeth, growling loudly. He pulled, trying to take him down and eat him.
