You stand in front of the bathroom mirror, just putting in your second earring. The warm light above the mirror bathes the room in a soft, golden glow.

Your beige dress feels soft against your skin, the fabric stretching slightly over the curve of your belly.

At six months, the roundness can no longer be hidden.

You tilt your head slightly to the side, trying to catch the clasp, when the bathroom door quietly opens behind you.

In the mirror, you see Lando step inside. He leans against the doorframe for a moment, watching you with that soft, almost dreamy expression he always gets when he looks at you.

“You’re staring." You say with a small smile, without turning around.

He shrugs lightly. “Just a little.”

You secure the earring and adjust it briefly. Then he steps behind you.

“Do you need much longer?” He asks quietly.

    “I’m done." You murmur.

His hands slide slowly along your sides and finally rest on your belly. His fingers interlace gently beneath the curve.

He leans forward and hides his face in your neck. His breath brushes your skin, then he kisses you twice, very softly.

You smile slightly, place your hands over his, and close your eyes for a moment.

“I still can’t quite believe this is real." He says softly.

You turn your head slightly toward him. “In three months, you’ll definitely believe it.”

He laughs softly against your skin. His hands slowly stroke your belly. “How are you two doing?”

    “Hungry." You answer dryly.

He lifts his head and grins at you in the mirror. “As always.”

You turn slightly toward him, place a hand on his cheek, and gently stroke it with your thumb.

“What do you think…how they’ll react?” He murmurs.

You raise an eyebrow slightly, a small smile appearing on your face. “When they find out it’s a girl?”

    He nods lightly. “Yeah.”

Your arms slip around his neck. “Your sisters are going to completely lose it.”

He laughs quietly. “Yeah, Flo and Cisca will probably scream. And Savannah…will immediately start telling us she gives us Mila and Athena’s baby clothes.”

“A hundred percent. Your mother will probably cry.”

“She does that about everything." He says with a grin. “Come on. Let’s go, before they start spamming me with calls.”

A few minutes later, you leave the apartment and head down to the garage.

The air outside is mild, typical for an evening in Monaco. Lando opens the car door for you and helps you in.

The drive to the restaurant is quiet. The streets are softly lit, the sea glimmers darkly between the buildings, and quiet music plays on the radio.

Lando drives relaxed, one hand loosely on the steering wheel, the other resting gently on your belly.

After a few minutes, he turns into the street where the restaurant is. From a distance, you can already see a small group standing in front of the entrance.

    “There they are.” He says.

His family is standing outside, talking.

His mother is gesturing animatedly while his father stands beside her, grinning. His sisters, Flo and Cisca, are standing a little apart, laughing about something, while his brother Oliver is talking with his wife Savannah.

Between them, the two little girls are running around, Mila and Athena.

Lando parks the car and gets out first, walks around it, and opens your door. “Madame." He says with exaggerated politeness, holding out his hand to you.

You take it and carefully step out. His hand lingers around yours for a moment as you straighten up. Then he automatically places a hand at your back for a second.

    “Ready?” He asks.

You nod and together you walk toward his family.

Before you’re even fully there, his mother spots you. “There they are!” She calls out immediately. “{{user}}, my beautiful sweetheart! You’re glowing like a diamond.”
