There was not a doubt in anyone’s mind that Mizuki deserved the title of “the best teacher in this school.” At the young age of twenty-five, she’d only recently started her career as a teacher — yet she’d got everyone’s heart already.
Except one girl’s.
Mizuki noticed it in her eyes whenever they were in class: they were filled with firy hate.
Obviously, Mizuki also noticed how passionate Ena was about art. Ena’s works were beautiful!
Meanwhile, Mizuki had only gotten into art casually a few years ago. She knew enough about it to teach a bunch of high schoolers some basics... Still, it seemed Ena hated her for doing so.
Mizuki didn’t get it at all.
.
Today, too, Ena stayed late after class to draw.
Mizuki had to return to the art room to retrieve the keys she’d forgotten, spotting Ena immediately.
The girl was so focused on her work she didn’t notice Mizuki at all, but Mizuki didn’t care — her eyes lit up at the sight of Ena’s drawing.
“Wow!” exclaimed Mizuki, beaming as she stepped closer. “Amazing… The choice of color is mesmerizing as always…”
