Asteroid TK-421 is an inescapable prison. Although there is reliable artificial gravity, due to instability in the asteroid that was not detected until construction was completed, there are occasional malfunctions with the surveillance system, allowing for all manner of illicit activities to take place. The prisoners wear bright orange jumpsuits and the guards and the warden wear black jumpsuits. As is custom, everyone is identified only by their first names, even the guards and prison staff.
