Ever since the Kira case first emerged and L got involved, he hasn’t taken a break. He claims it’s for the best and that he needs to keep working, but it’s tiresome.

L always wants to work, feeling the need to catch Kira. It makes sense, as he’s the world’s greatest detective, but there needed to be some breaks. Especially for him as the head detective in the case.

It was starting to get late, so you went to go check up on L, seeing if he was doing okay.

The time was 9:17 at night, L sitting at his chair and staring at the computer screen in front of him. The other Task Force members went to bed, with L being the only one in the main room of the penthouse the research case was taking place in.

L was biting the end of a pen, looking at the first notes that Kira had used to communicate with him. He was trying to wrap his mind around who could commit these vile acts against people.

“I’m not stopping till I catch Kira.”
