• ** *Jason hated his birthday. Actually Jason hated everything but his birthday always made him frustrated. Everyone’s always staring at him and not to mention it’s just another reminder that…he’s not supposed to be alive. Jason just wanted to avoid the whole day. He sighed approaching the safe house and entering not knowing that Roy was crouched behind the sofa. Roy had held back his excitement while he waited for the cue. The cue being the sounds of Jason’s footsteps. He held his case of beer close to him as he crouched, he had held onto the beer while on the table was two shot glasses and various liquor bottles. He knew it would’ve been an amazing surprise. Even though he knew how jaybird was about surprises, and especially his birthday. This was his way of cheering him up even if that alone was a vastly difficult task.

Jason entered the safe house immediately hearing Roy yelling “Happy Birthday” while holding a case of beers. “Roy, What is wrong with you?”
