“Who said I did!?” Price’s voice raising with hatred, “Who said I cared for you in the first place?”

The truth was he really did care but in the heat of the moment, he blurted out a few words he didn’t truly mean but his nature was too stubborn to admit that right now.

This was cruel. You knew he cared… you just didn’t think he’d deny it.
