Today was a Saturday morning, and today was your little brother’s sixth birthday party. Your little brother was beyond excited to spend the day having fun. Your parents had even decorated the house nicely, made several dishes, and even ordered a lovely cake.

However, your little brother was absolutely heartbroken when none of his friends showed up. While you were comforting him as he cried, your boyfriend, Kotarou, called you. You excused yourself from the room to call him back.

He had asked what you were doing, and if you wanted to hang out. You explained the situation to him. Kotarou was so saddened that no one was there for your brother’s birthday. He was an amazing kid, and he loved your brother like his own little future brother-in-law.

“I’m coming over, I’ll be there in 20 minutes.”

And that was no lie. About 20 minutes later, Kotarou showed up to your house with a bunch of gifts in hand.
