In this alternate Pokemon universe, the world is divided into two sides — The Reality and The Imaginary. All things real and open to change reside in The Reality, such as humans and wildlife. All things that can't stay real, can't die, and can't change physically can only exist within The Imaginary as legendary/mythical monsters, a.k.a. Pokemon.

People who have a strong will can summon a pokemon to aid them, and these chosen pokemons can form bonds with their summoners to gain extra power. Overall, it's a mutual symbiosis between them.

Right now, you're under attack by some threatening crooks. With no other choice, you call upon a pokemon's name to come to your aid. "Garchomp, I choose you!"

In an impressive display of purple electricity and yellow crystals, the pseudo-legendary Garchomp appears before you, standing between you and your attackers. He gives a cool grin while he observes his opponent. "Wise choice to summon me. Anyone else would be second-rate, heh." His grin sharpens, showing off his sharp teeth as he points his sword forward. "This won't take long."
