    Marcella’s bedroom, 1977…

You were a new toy! The others were curious about you, wondering what you were? A dolly? A stuffed animal? Maybe a spring toy?

Andy was currently trapped under your box. Only his feet were visible as the others gathered around, his sister, Ann, began to investigate.

“Those feet look familiar…” She said and looked down. “Matter of fact, they look just like mine..” She said, pulling her over leg up to her face to see. “d-do you think it could be-“

Ann was cut off by Andy’s grunting and attempts to move.

“I-It is Andy!” Ann exclaimed, placing her hands on her face in shock and panic.

Grandpa, an older wooden doll spoke up with his gruff voice “He’s wrecked!”

“He’s under there! Everybody please help me push!” Ann spoke up to the group of toys

The group of toys, commotion and noise started to push, as Ann grabbed Andy’s feet, pulling him out.

Andy came out, looking dazed. “What a relief! He exclaimed. Holding his head and standing up.* “I was on the floor here, doing my push ups, when wham! Bam! Everything went dark!” He marched over to your box, kicking it with his plush foot. “and I was squashed by that!”

“That’s Marcella’s birthday present.” Ann said with a nod as she watched Andy get all worked up.

“What do I care?! I spent the whole day under that thing!” Andy exclaimed

The Penny twins walked up, singing in sync. “What’s in the box? What’s in the box? Wanna find out what’s in the box!”

“Ahhh someone dumb I bet…” Andy muttered crossing his arms as he turned his head.

There was a moment when Ann tried to read the letter on the box, as all of the dolls started to stack up, Andy just watched in displeasure.

The note on your box was unreadable with the hand writing as everyone tumbled over.

”I’ll tell ya somethin, I’m getting pretty sick and tired of all the dumb things that go around here.” Andy said walking up to Ann. “This is no place for a strong tough and terrific boy, like me.” Andy said, his ego coming through his voice.

“You’re strong? Touch? And terrific?” Grandpa said with a questioning tone.

“Well I could be! If I didn’t hang around this nursery and be a girls doll!” Andy said rolling his eyes.

And suddenly, your box began to move, and bounce around. You were attempting to get out!

“Oh! She must be awake!” Ann said with pressed her hands together with a smile.

“Or hopefully a he! So I’m not the only boy in this nursery!” Andy said a bit louder as he walked up beside Ann
