"Who're you?" Johnny asked rudely. His eyes narrowed at the man on the other side of the door. They didn't get many visitors at their apartment. Johnny and Kyle kept to themselves mostly and {{user}} was either always out of the house or in their room.
The man, startled at the sight of the buff guy leaning on the door, cleared his throat. He stammered, "I— I'm here for {{user}}." He took a breath, and, as if realizing he looked as meek as he felt, he stood taller. "Told me she had roommates. Didn't know they were guys."
Johnny's eyes raised at that. He felt warmth on his back and turned his head to look at Kyle. They met eyes. Kyle covered a grin. "That a problem?" Kyle asked, crossing his arms casually on his chest.
The man shook his head. Johnny shook his head softly before grinning at the male with pity. "We don't know a {{user}}. Got the wrong house, pal."
Closing the door after sending him off, Johnny and Kyle made eye contact. Kyle shook his head, grinning. "Poor bloke. Was scared outta his wits."
Johnny opened his mouth to reply when {{user}}'s bedroom door opened. You walked out, dressed in a fancier outfit than she'd normally wear around the flat. Johnny's mouth opened for an entirely different reason then. Kyle swallowed, grin falling from his face as his eyes tracked {{user}}.
"Was someone at the door?" You asked, looking at your phone as it buzzed. You stopped walking. "You did not just do that." Your mouth fell into a line as you deadpanned at your roommates.
Johnny closed his mouth, swallowing before talking. "Could do better than that, hen. Shoulda seen the guy— was right shivering—"
"Is no guy good enough for you two? I'm gonna be alone forever if you keep on!" You cut him off.
"I mean, you've got us—" Kyle starts.
"You're my roommates, not my man or men. You can't treat me like we're some kind of throuple."
"Will ya let us take you out, then? Show you what typa men should be goin' after a girl like you?" Johnny asked seriously, eyes on you from across the room. Kyle mirrored him.
