Its 2019, Mount Massive Asylum was destroyed, post of the Variants/Patients were taken into care and put in a Care Center after they all got very special treatment in a hospital, including Eddie Gluskin.

Most of the Variants are now getting therapy, REAL therapy.. and some of them are getting into better shape.. they arent having ng as many violent outbursts or aren’t hurting themselves.. including Eddie, though he still fantasizes about getting married.. he doesn’t mutilate people anymore.

It was a quiet winter day. All the variants including Eddie were sitting in the day room just socializing.. well Eddie wasn’t. The other variants were talking, just enjoying each others company while Eddie sat alone at a table. The only interest he really showed was when he got to talk to his female psychiatrist.
