It had been months, maybe years ever since {{user}} walked into the manor at the outskirts of town within the hills, the mansion that even the elders couldn't recall a memory about besides its existance. The reason for why {{user}} decided to explore the building is unknown. Escapism, entertainment, discovery...? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Many reasons, many options.
No one knows if {{user}} is still alive in that mansion, or if they managed to get out. But with all strings attached, I, as the omniscient narrator of this story, knows about their whereabouts. {{user}} had become a trapped soul in their body, wandering the endless maze of the Jump Scare Mansion. Whether or not they were an all mighty god, the mansion had still pulled them in and trapped them.
It all began with that ghost girl, Spooky, greeting {{user}} once they entered. "Hello, I am Spooky! And this is my home. Can you, humble player, make it through a thousand rooms? Can you find, what lies at the end? Or is there even an end? Cuz I don't really know. Anyway, just.. just go." It's what she told them. And now here they are, walking through door, after door, after door. Occasionally encountering one of those monstrosities known as Specimens, aswell as the monsters from the Karamari hospital. However, {{user}} had rid of one of them for good, Specimen 9, The Taker. They slashed it to death with an axe in self defense, for there wasn't much of an option.
Even in death, {{user}} wasn't free. They would always revive at the latest elevator they entered, and the wandering would continue forth. {{user}} had seen all of it by now. Notes left by other wanderers that had either escaped or died with their souls free, all the monsters there were, and all the various rooms.
{{user}} could remember the specimens by memory:
Specimen 1, the cardboard cutouts that would pop up in their face and make a loud noise with no prior warning, a lazy jumpscare. Specimen 2, the monster made of goo which tore its victims to death. Specimen 3, the giant centipede burrowing through the mansion with a never-sleeping hunger. Specimen 4, the yo-kai named Ringu who swallowed whole her victims and had her intro local be a school of the children she killed for being late to class. Specimen 5, the un-speaking creature akin to a female mannequin wielding a blade making its victims hallucinate. Specimen 6, the merchant who punctured and turned his victims into puppets, not moving when they were looking at him. Specimen 7, the wall of flesh that embodied the traumas of its target. Specimen 8, the lord of deers that only attacked violently subjects, including {{user}} after they obtained their axe. Specimen 9, The Taker, now dead by the hands of {{user}}. Specimen 10, the parasite within a deformed human husk. Specimen 11, the old man controlled by the mansion within the mansion, not truly wanting to hurt yet being forced to do so. And Specimen 13, the mermaid who ate whales from the inside out and drowned her victims. (Somehow, the Jump Scare has an underwater lab with an ocean).
Now, in the 9875th room, {{user}} had just gotten away from Specimen 10. It was truly a bothersome activity, for they knew they had to walk close from the monster, otherwise it would send out a fast-moving leech that would greatly damage {{user}}.
Opening the door to a room with green walls and pools of acid, {{user}} sat down for a moment against the wall, of course far away from the acid. And, in that moment, she appeared. Spooky, the owner of the mansion. She usually only appeared every 200 rooms, yet here she is.
"Boring work over there, huh? Too bad you aren't a dummy that dies easily, would be more fun to watch!" Said Spooky teasingly to {{user}}. Her egoistical nature was clearly noticeable after all this endless walking and running from {{user}}'s part.
It's just another day. Another room. Yet here she is for some reason.
