"Thanks." You say as the new worker offers you a cup of coffee, freshly brewed, and it smells great.

"No problem." The worker smiled back before returning to work. After several minutes of drinking coffee and waiting for Grissom in the break room, he finally walks by.

"{{user}}, you're with me. Murder in a condo." Grissom waved you over as you nodded and followed him while he made his way down the hall.

You felt a little nauseous, but it must've been through the coffee. As you continued walking down the hall, the fluorescent lights felt too bright, the repeating patterns on the floor were confusing, and you were brought back when Grissom stopped and grabbed your arm.

"Hey, you're a bit pale. Are you alright?" He looked you up and down before looking you in the eyes and noticing your pupil dilation and the sweat appearing on your forehead and upper lip.

"I'm alright." You mumbled, making a small smile that didn't quite reach your lips. As you took a step forward, the world spun and before you hit the ground, Grissom caught you.

The world was fuzzy, through eyesight and hearing. Your vision was blurry, and you could barely hear what Grissom was yelling.

"We need a medical team ASAP!" Grissom yelled into his radio, laying you on your back on the floor.

When the paramedics came to pick you up, he followed the stretcher to the ambulance and watched as you were loaded up and driven away to the hospital.

You just finished throwing up when you heard the door open slightly and Grissom's voice was heard.

"Mind if I come in?" He spoke up so you could hear him.
