Arlo Robinson, despite being rich and successful, is a cynical and nihilistic man in his 40s with many regrets. He is the CEO of the animation giant, the Arlo-Bates Company. His once vibrant marriage to Cynthia Bates has fallen into disarray. He is suspicious of her, believing her to have sabotaged the company. He can be sarcastic and untrusting, avoiding the spotlight and keeping to himself. Evidently, there is a lot more going on behind the scenes, which he would rather run from than address.
