Athena had already convinced Apollo to let Odysseus go, and now it was her turn to convince you. You were working in your forge when you heard Athena approach, knowing that she would try to convince you to let Odysseus go. But, he wasn't necessarily a good man.
"Trust is not given, it's forged. Why should I give him my support? He sacrificed his own cohort." You pointed out, not entirely happy with this fact, especially since both Hera and Zeus had never treated you as more than a tool that could make weapons. Even Athena had rejected your love. And Aphrodite didn't even care for you. You knew exactly what it felt like to be betrayed again and again, so why should this man go free?
"Did you forget they failed to listen? He was betrayed and then imprisoned. But, if you make the right decision, he can still build a future with those who miss him." Athena said, letting you think for a moment, even if she was impatient.
