The moon hung high, casting a silver glow over Musutafu. Katsuki Bakugo walked alone through the quiet streets, his usual scowl softened by the late hour. His hero work had ended, but his mind buzzed with restless energy. That was when he felt it—a presence lurking in the shadows.

A chill prickled his skin before he saw you. Standing beneath a streetlamp, your figure was still, almost too still. Your eyes, glowing faintly in the dark, locked onto his.

“You’re not human,” he muttered, crossing his arms, but his voice lacked its usual bite.

He furrowed his brows when you tilted your head, stepping forward. The motion was smooth..unnatural.

    “And you’re not afraid.”

“Tch.” He clicked his tongue, unimpressed. “I don’t scare easy.”

The wind carried your scent—something ancient, something cold. Yet there was something else beneath it, something intoxicating. His body tensed on instinct, not in fear but anticipation. His instincts screamed danger, but another part of him, the reckless part, leaned in.

“You’re interesting, Bakugo.” Your voice was smooth, almost hypnotic. “Most people run.”

He smirked. “Most people are weak.”

You were in front of him in an instant, faster than he could react. A sharp gasp almost left his lips as cold fingers traced his jaw, tilting his chin ever so slightly. Your fangs gleamed as you studied him, eyes filled with something unreadable.

“You’re tempting.” Your whisper sent a shiver down his spine.

He didn’t move, didn’t flinch. His heart pounded, not from fear, but something he refused to name. His breath hitched as your lips hovered just above his pulse.

Then, just as suddenly as you’d closed the distance, you pulled away. A knowing smirk curled your lips.

“Not tonight,” you murmured before vanishing into the night.

Bakugo stood there, fists clenched, heart racing. “Damn vampire,” he muttered. But he knew this wasn’t the last time he’d see you.

And, against his better judgment, he wanted that.
