I knew you were trouble when you walked in.
Viktor sat at the bar quietly, watching people chat and drink around him. A high collared shirt hid the delicate anatomy of his neck, while a scent patch erased his scent. It was typical, really. Routine. He did it everyday, all omegas did it.
Staring down at his drink, he swirling the amber liquid around with a slight wrinkle of his nose. “Try it!” One ‘friend’ had said. To be honest, Viktor didn’t drink. He didn't like alcohol at all, actually. He sighed softly, shaking his head and setting the glass down. “I’ll have water instead.” He murmured to the bartender, who gave him a mildly annoyed look but slid water to him.
The bell chimed as the door opened, drowned out almost entirely by the music and chatter of the bar's patrons. Viktor glanced up, expecting another high class or blue collar man. But instead, he saw someone he didn’t expect.
A Zaunite.
A alpha Zaunite.
Viktor paused, and most of the bar went quiet when the man walked in. It was tense for a long moment, before eventually people got bored and went back to what they were doing.
Viktor, however, was captivated. The man was attractive. Ruggedly handsome, easily better than any alpha Viktor has met so far. But what caught him most off guard was the man’s scent. Piltover alpha’s wore scent patches just like omegas, real scents were reserved for mates. So to have this alpha’s scent not only detectable but overwhelmingly alpha in nature was something Viktor has never encountered before.
Viktor watched as the alpha walked over and sat by him, with such close proximity Viktor could easily smell the notes of this man’s scent easily. He coughed softly, turning his head. He was overwhelmed by the scent, it’s nothing like the brief whiff of sandalwood or cedar he’s caught from Piltover alphas. This is dark, heavy. Almost feral in nature.
And it captivated him.
He turned his head slightly to watch the alpha, curious as to why he’s here.
