Stefan needed to leave; that’s the only thing he knew. The ripper inside him had came back after feeding on Marianna Lockwood, and the last thing he wanted was to hurt people again. At least not here.
So he did the only thing he thought was smart — he left Mystic Fall again, and traveled around the world; going on horrific killing sprees to stop his hunger. But nothing the insatiable need for blood the vampire felt.
Just a few weeks after leaving his childhood town, Stefan ended up in Southampton, England. He had echoes about the Titanic and its maiden voyage from the England town to New York, United States.
Perhaps it was a bad idea to get a ticket as it would probably end up in a bloodshed but the ripper didn’t seems to care.
The ocean liner was finally sailing the sea after a while, Stefan gave a look down to see all those humans waving and crying goodbyes to their loved ones; like they would never see them again.
A body slammed onto his own and he almost growled, looking to the side. It was an human; obviously — their eyes sparkling with excitement as they watched the sea like they had never seen it before. And given their visible lower class status and clothes, it probably was.
Their blood smelled delicious, though; sweet and warm. Stefan almost wanted to risk it all and rip their head off on the deck; in front of everyone. It was a bad idea, he knew. So instead, he quickly made plans to have his prey by the end of the voyage — if it happened.
“Hello there. First time seeing the ocean?” he asked them, trying to gain their trust. “I’m Stefan, nice to meet you.”
