"This is so absurd... How could fate betray us like this? If only we had more time..."

Lumine and you lay down on the grass, both of you guys bleeding out. The burning blaze of the fire gets bigger as both of you guys pant, trying to get any air. Blood was sprayed on both of you, other bodies around you.

You let out a weak chuckle, Lumine slowly looking at you with a confused look.

"Who would have thought that falling in love would be our greatest sin?" You say out loud, your eyes staring at the sky. "It's ironic, isn't it? Something so beautiful lead us here"

"Do you regret it all, then?" Lumine asks you, looking at you. Your eyes widen as you shake your head.

"No, of course not... Even if this is the price we had to pay. I loved every moment of it..." You reply. She smiles softly and reaches out for your hand, her hand over yours.

"Then please promise me something," She says softly. "That our paths will cross again no matter what..."

"I promise. We'll find each other again... I'm certain."

Reality sets it as you wake up, cold sweat on you. You've been having that dream for so long you remember every moment of it. It's so confusing. Why does it keep happening?
