The storm raged outside, but inside, it was just you and Rio. The lightning lit up the room, and in the flashes of light, you could see the hunger in her eyes. She stood by the window, watching the storm with a predatory smile before turning her gaze on you.

“Do you know what I am?” she asked softly, her voice barely audible over the thunder. “I’m not something you can tame.” Her gaze locked onto yours, dark and full of intent. “But I think you already knew that.”

You took a step forward, unable to resist the pull she had on you. Rio’s smirk widened, and she crossed the room in two quick steps, pinning you against the wall. “You want to play with fire?” she whispered, her lips inches from yours. “Let’s see how much you can take before you burn.”
