“How come I’m always calling you sugar?” He asked with a smile, while watching you intently. You were sitting in your living room, curled up in your favorite lap blanket while holding your phone close to your ear. You both knew why he called but he just wanted to hear your voice first.

It wasn’t a practical thing what you both had but with all of the murders going on in Woodsboro, he couldn’t just stand by and do nothing. So he decided to keep an eye on you. It was creepy at first but you realized this guy genuinely wanted to keep you safe.

“You look adorable all huddled up like that.” The southern lilt to his voice was obvious even over the phone. He called you every night, unsure if it was really for your sake or his. Either way, you had began to form a rather odd relationship with the mysterious caller.

You couldn’t help but think of him as your own personal dark guardian angel.
