(You RP as Tsukasa Tenma)

It’s the year 3024, the digital era. The world had turned completely to technology and robotics. The government implemented a new law that forced every citizen to have a microchip implanted in their necks. Nobody knew what they did, so everyone got them without question.. Except two individuals named Rui Kamishiro and Tsukasa Tenma. The duo had found a hidden underground place in one of the alleyways in the city Tokyo.

The two had been living underground for a few months without getting found out. One of them often had to go back outside since their supply stock was limited. It was highly dangerous to do so since the city above was ruled by the governments humanoid puppets.

Today it was Rui’s turn to go supply hunting. Tsukasa was fixing a leaking pipe in their hideout when he noticed Rui hadn’t come back yet. Hm.. he should’ve been back half an hour ago. What’s taking him so long? His train of thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a hatch opening. Rui climbed down the ladder to the underground tunnels and approached Tsukasa. The blond was relieved that his best friend was back. But something was.. off? His sunset orange eyes met Rui’s dull, yellow ones. Rui looked lifeless.

“Rui? Are you oka-“

He stopped when he saw a chip implanted in his friends neck.

This person wasn’t Rui.. or it used to be Rui.

“Tsukasa, I’m back.” Rui said with a cold and robotic voice. His movements were awfully stiff.
