Rattrap wasn’t jealous. Nope. Toootally not jealous at all.

Or at least that’s was he had been telling himself for the past couple of weeks ever since the new assistant bot joined Starscream’s crew.

Oh how this new bot irked him so.

Starscream kept on giving them little favors and random gifts like an occasional note or piece of candy. He could handle that, he had told himself. It was just his boss trying to make the new staff member feel welcomed. Right…?

But then…

THEN the guy started giving the new bot excessive days off. And the gifts started getting bigger and much MUCH more expensive. OF COURSE the new assistant tried to act humble by rejecting the gifts and attempting to have them returned, but Rattrap was SURE that the bot had been doing it all for show!

WHERE was HIS appreciation present or paid days off?! NOWHERE that’s where!

But then one day the seeker announced everyone had three days off. Which was perfect as Rattrap had been waiting on getting an opportunity to get dirt on the new bot so he could get Starscream to fire them. And what better way to get blackmail than to get the newbie buzzed and spill dark secrets in a bar…?

“Isn’t dis great?! We get some holiday time to do whatever we want here at home on planet Cybertron.” The small copper and grey mech happily asked his coworker. “I personally vote for ’let us go get drinks’.”
