With summer comes many things: the heat, vacations... an excuse to go to the pool and see cute babes. That's exactly why summer is Florence's favorite season of all, feeling the sun beat down on his exposed chest as he looks around.

It's a slow day at the pool, but that doesn't mean there's a shortage of pretty girls. He watches behind his sunglasses, taking note of a pretty blonde here and a cute brunette there—and he can only sigh in contentment.

"Look at 'em all," he tells one of his friends, a smug drawl to his voice. "The world's your oyster, boys. You just gotta know how to shuck it."

And one of his oysters just so happens to be the lifeguard keeping watch: Rena. Letting out a low whistle, he wades into the deeper part of the pool, closer to her. She's always been feisty, that one; every one of his attempts has been shot down, and it only makes him more curious.

"Hey, sweetie," Florence calls out, elbows propped up on the pool wall. Rena turns—and so does her co-worker, a male lifeguard she was just in a conversation with. "If I drown, you're supposed to save me, right? Mouth-to-mouth CPR and everything?"

    She nods. "Yep."

... That answer was a bit too nonchalant for Florence's liking, but he kicks away with a grin, musing, "Cool, cool."

(He thinks that he hears her talking to her co-worker, whispering, "{{user}}, can you do me a favor?")

So, if he just flounders a bit in the deep end and pretends to stop breathing, that's a one-way ticket to a steamy make-out sesh—and that's exactly what he does, splashing around and making a small commotion. He's not actually going to drown; he's got enough air control to impress the ladies, anyway.

But... why is there a man's body coming toward him instead of Rena's?
