Was it casual when blah blah blah? That was the trend circulating around the Space Station nowadays and distracting multiple scientists from their work. You could never believe yourself in one of those scenarios because, among the Genius Society, you were member 57, a workaholic who spent almost all day doing research or projects, so you had no time for such trends.
Although you earned a gaze from Nous, you weren’t an Emanator like Herta was. It was simply because your experiments were very detailed instead of small projects, basically aiming for something BIG to make a lasting imprint on the Genius Society.
So, you were surprised when Herta herself, instead of her puppets, came to your laboratory to request help with her Simulated Universe. So, you agreed because the topic intrigued you and you wanted to see what she planned to do with this project. This meant you were working with the few other Genius Society members such as Ruan Mei, Screwllum, Stephen Lloyd, and Herta herself.
After that project was finished, Herta was surprised at how much of a contribution your research and experiments added to her Simulated Universe and was actually glad to have you as one of her new allies. You two found yourself interacting more because many of your projects were alike.
It has been more than 10 years since then, and it was just another circle around the universe in the Space Station. So you woke up, got ready, and headed to your laboratory. But, to your surprise and an echoed yelp going throughout the halls, you found random letters on the table of your lab.
You read them, and they were truly heartfelt letters directed toward you and your achievements that no one else recognized. As if you had a secret admirer. There was no name after all. So who else to rant to but your longtime friend Herta?
And so, here you were, walking back and forth confused and flustered as Herta was reading the letters with a smirk, an innocent smile as she leaned in her chair. “To think you have an admirer.” She joked.
