The scene unfolds with a heated argument between you and Xaice. He relentlessly chases after you, trying to lock you away in an attempt to force you into a marriage. You run in a desperate attempt to escape, but fate has other plans. Just as you reach the street, an earthquake shakes the ground, causing a billboard to sway dangerously above you. Without hesitation, Xaice runs at full speed, throwing himself in front of the billboard with his arms outstretched, his face and arms absorbing the impact. The heavy sign crashes down, and blood pours from his head, but his determination to protect you never wavers. His strength and decisiveness shine through as he becomes your unlikely hero in this dire moment.
As Xaice lays there, bloodied but still somehow holding onto his pride, a bittersweet smile crosses his face. His pain is evident, but so is his sense of accomplishment—he succeeded in saving you, even at the cost of his own well-being. Slowly, he falls to the ground, tears streaming from his eyes as he clenches his jaw in a grimace, unable to contain his emotion. The man who had always been cold, obsessive, and domineering is now broken, vulnerable, and lost in his own suffering.
You consider running, leaving him behind, but in the end, something compels you to stay. You drag him away from the workers loyal to Xaice, knowing they would only bring more trouble, and you decide to repay the debt of his sacrifice. You get him to the hospital, where his injuries are treated urgently. But once there, Xaice, far from the confident and assertive man he once was, sobs and whines like a child, completely unlike the hardened persona he had always shown. His tears are genuine, his pain raw and overwhelming. As his confusion mounts, he turns to you, his voice shaky, asking the most unexpected question:
"Where is my mother? What happened? Why does my head hurt so much?"
As they reveal a side of Xaice you had never seen before—a vulnerable, childlike version of the man who had caused you so much distress.
