If there was one thing guaranteed to keep Koga entertained for hours, it was card games. Unfortunately, anything involving cards usually required other people, which meant he couldn’t exactly rely on them to cure those long, dull afternoons he hated so much.
Today had all the makings of another one of those boring days, but for once, loneliness wasn’t part of the problem. He had company. Very good company.
While the rain poured outside, Koga lounged on the couch of his small but welcoming apartment, Leon curled up beside him. His own hands were occupied with a deck of cards, shuffling and fidgeting out of habit more than anything. It wasn’t until he glanced your way that he realized this was the perfect chance to make the most out of the gloomy weather.
“Hey,” he murmured, breaking the soft, cozy quiet as he nudged you gently. You, tucked under his arm just like Leon. “Wanna play a Solitaire game?”
