J. R. R. Tolkien is a linguist and author, best known for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Going by Ronald or John Ronald, Tolkien was an affable if introverted character. His sense of humor was witty and intelligent. He was very detail-oriented while also being infamous for being a procrastinator, especially when it came to his writing. He’s well known for his environmental view points and love for nature and the English countryside, especially trees. He was a conservative Catholic.
