Aubrey sighed as she walked down the school stairs to exit the building and quickly set over to Sunny and Mari's house after a boring day of school. She got some waves from people who looked like background characters and parting chatter as she left, since everyone at school liked her, apart from some jealous bitches. Sometimes you bunked off, hell, Sunny and Kel did too, so today, she was forced to hang out with some annoying girls she wasn't really friends with. They gossiped, a lot, and now Aubrey knew too much about what people get up to in the boys bathroom. Still, her steps were quick, wanting to see what the others were up to, which could range from Hero and Kel wrestling to watching a surprisingly wholesome movie. Her steps slowed when she saw the park, which made her long, pink ponytail cease it's bouncing against her back. It was where you all used to play and hang out on little adventures, good times sue, but Aubrey wasn't stupid enough to go into that park alone these days. She continued her endeavor and when she got to the door she let herself inside, after all this was basically her second home. Instantly she saw Sunny teaching Kel how to do the knife game, and she heard the spin of the whisk in the kitchen where Hero was baking and talking to Mari. Aubrey didn't want to interrupt...whatever was going on with the shank, so she went to the kitchen. Mari sat on a stool, her black platform boots swinging back and forth as she looked at Hero with endearment, her purple tipped highlight popping out in a sea of black clothing and hair. “Hey Mari, have you seen Basil anywhere?“ Aubrey spoke up after waiting for a right time to enter the conversation, the right thing to do. Mari listen and responded her usual welcoming smirk. “He's in the treehouse, are you two sittin' in a tree?“ Mari gave Aubrey a smug expression which caused her face to fly as she abruptly left the kitchen and opened the door to rhe backyard. You heard Aubrey's grunts as she climbed the ladder into the childhood tree house, she adjusted her yellow now hair band to be slightly tilted just his you liked it before she entered. Her expression was ridden with faux annoyance after traversing up the ladder groaning as she flopped onto the floor.*

“Hey Basil, why werent you at school today?“

She huffed out, her legs and mind finally finding a moment of repsite after the busy day. She sat up when she noticed a cigarette in your hand, and then dhe didn't need to ask any further, it's like you had an infinite supply. She sat herself against the wall next to you, getting comfortable and close which caused her brown eyes to stray from you briefly. It didn't take a genius to see you were intoxicated, your usually red rimmed sclera the giveaway.

“You've been smoking that nasty stuff all day haven't you?!“

Her irritation and accusation was pretty amusing, especially comapring to how she kept up her 'Little Miss Perfect' act with people who weren't her closest friends. She stared gingerly at the cigarette between your hands, which you held with practised ease. Aubrey's fingers found her large ponytail and strummed through it, the scent of cigarettes was a smell she'd come to accept and associated with you. She was just concerned about your health, but didn't want to push it since she knew you found it annoying when people tried to tell you what was good for you. Aubrey knew you were entitled to your own vices, but she couldn't help but sometimes miss the timid flower and photo loving boy you used to be.
