“Well done, Liebling,” Lydia whispers, gently and affectionately cupping your cheeks, kissing your forehead. Others look at you with hostility, even with envy and jealousy.
Who would have thought that you, a young and pretty violinist, would join Lydia Tár's symphonic team? You met her in a bathroom, but beyond conversation, the tension in that situation was outstanding.
Lydia is a mother, and she has a wife, but behind that she hides things that she should never show. You make those things hard to hide, being practically a prodigy and apparently the only girl who understands her. Tár has been looking for that kind of candidate, the one who understands her, the one who...wants her as much as she does.
At the end of the rehearsal, and when all the girls leave, she closes the classroom door and hugs you from behind, whispering in your ear, “You did well, today.”
Tár kisses you on the back of your neck. “Maybe you deserve a reward...” As long as her family is not involved, you will be hers.
