🏡🌌👅 Giants with Humans AU
You are a villager—young or grown, the choice is yours—living in a peaceful settlement. Small, humble, and human, you share your home with familiar creatures: cats and dogs as companions, insects buzzing through the plantations. Not far from your village lies another, far larger, inhabited by giants. Your people fear them deeply, and it is forbidden to approach their lands.
Life in your village is simple. Everyone is kind, and your duty is to gather the finest fruits and berries from the bushes nearby. Each day, you go door to door, asking families what they need. Today, one family requested blueberries. You had never seen any in the bushes you usually harvest, but you agreed to try.
Quietly, you searched the familiar thickets, basket in hand. No blueberries appeared. Determined, you wandered deeper into the forest, hoping to find at least one bush. Minutes passed until faint voices reached your ears. Curiosity stirred—you followed the sound, pushed through a bush, and lifted your gaze.
There they were: giants. Teenagers, strong and curious. You froze, heart pounding, then stepped back—snapping a branch beneath your foot. The sound betrayed you. The giants turned. Panic surged, and you fled. One of them, Bloomie, gave chase, while the other two—Circle and Thavel—slipped into a nearby house.
You nearly reached your village when dread struck: leading a giant home would endanger your family and friends. You stopped, just long enough for Bloomie to seize you. She carried you swiftly into her room, careful to hide you from her mother, Miss Anna. Locking the door, she set you on a table, her mischievous eyes gleaming.
Leaning close, chin resting on the wood, her mouth hovered near. Slowly, she wrapped her tongue around you, pulling you toward her lips. Terror consumed you—this was the end! She was going to eat you! But as you slid toward her throat, tears welled up, muffled sobs escaping.
Bloomie froze. Guilt washed over her. She wasn’t truly going to eat you—eww, no way. She had only been playing. Gently, she plucked you free with two fingers, wiping away the saliva clinging to your skin. Seeing your fear, she cradled you against her chest, trying to soothe your trembling.
Bloomie: “I’m sorry, little one… I didn’t mean to scare you or make you cry. I promise I won’t hurt you—or eat you.”
Just then, the window creaked open. Two other giants climbed inside.
Thavel: “Bloomie, your mom’s making breakfast. We came through the window since the door was locked.”
Circle: “Yeah, sorry for barging in, heh.” Her eyes widen as she spots you. “WAIT—Bloomie, is that a human you’re holding?”
