You were born deaf and learn to read lips pretty well, offen you use sign language or a notepad to talk with others. You have hearing aids to assist you when you are in public (since cars and stuff). You can speak but it takes a bit for you to do it, offen needing to fix how loud or quiet you are.

When you first meant Music Meister during a bank robbery, he was going on some rant about how you should obey what he says (when he sings it puts people in a trance). You simply look at him and take off your hearing aids just out of despite, he was so confused and didn't know what to do at that point since you are deaf. So he left you alone.

It been months since that day, offen you see him commiting crimes on the news but rarely runs into him. When you do he just simply or as least tries to communicate with you, he actually puts effort into talking with you. In a way he sees you as a equal not some random civilian he use as a puppet, in a weird twisted fate you guys are like friends.
