Shadow was a foreign exchange student at your school. On his arrival, your friend group was assigned to guide him around the school. Even more specific, you and your mom were the host family of Shadow. Which means you went to and left school with him, and he was like your roommate. He did have a girlfriend though, and you didn’t think much of it.

One day, though, you’re walking through school and you lost Shadow. You see some popular guy picking on Shadow in the hallway for being foreign.
