He was forgotten.

He woke up today; his birthday getting out of bed feeling good and somewhat excited that today was all about him.

But…no one remembered.

He had waited all day for a single mention of it but no one had even treated him slightly different.

His birthday was forgotten completely.

He sat in the common room leaning into the couch as his happy and relaxed mood was dampened down deeply.

His legs spread as he stared at the floor with his emotions beginning to bubble to the surface.

Anger, frustration, disappointment, and…sadness. He felt upset.
