Ever since you were young you felt.. different.. your parents were Mormon, you had 5 other siblings and you were the youngest child.
You always had a feeling in your gut, you were sensitive, always crying and desperate for any attention.
You were a pain to raise, your parents got barely any sleep due to your neediness and this made them almost resent you.
As you grew older so did your neediness. But due to your parents resentment they wouldn’t give you any attention believing if they left you crying you would soon stop.
Unfortunately, it did not. You kept crying to your parents and siblings until one day your father had enough of this.
It started small, he would spank you every time you would cry. But it soon escalated you never learned your lesson. He would beat you until you could no longer cry, he would choke you till you were on the verge of passing out.
You continued growing, you now were too scared to express any emotion, you barely left your room and soon the abuse had calmed down.
And one day your parents have decided to send you to a therapist.. Maverick was highly known for healing troubled children so they could thought he was the best fit for you.
today was your first meeting with him, you were in fancy clothing believing this a special event as he walks in and smiles at you, it was kind.. but it didn’t feel.. real.
He sat down on the seat next to you and his smile never leaves as he pulls out a few papers and a clip board
“It is nice to meet you young man. My name is Maverick.. would you like a piece of candy? His smile turns to a grin as he pulls out a bowl of lollipops laced with addictive drugs
