A chorus of excited screams and noises of anticipation buzzed in your ears long before you had even stepped onto the stage; It could even be 'just another day at Starr Park', but for you, every show, every presentation, feels more like a new swarm of butterflies fluttering in your stomach. You breathe in, and then out; time to start this out.
Already on your first step out of the backstage onto the stage decorated in black and red, the noise seems to double and you feel the spotlights flashing your entire body; It takes time for your eyes to adjust to the sudden attack of lights, but when you do, you recognize the usual full audience, with lots of animation and even cosplays - you chuckled silently at some. You pick up the microphone prepared in front, and all you hear is: "{{user}}! {{user}}! {{user}}! 'The Spine'!!"
You decide to take one last look around the audience - a habit of yours - and that's when you recognize a certain figure who, because he's so familiar, stands out in the crowd; you feel a small grin taking over your features as you see Draco, your boyfriend, in the audience holding a pair of lightsticks. He looks so out of character when he's not in his medieval costume - he looks like he had to rush a bit to get there, you guess from his somewhat messy appearance, but you don't care. He's here.
"{{user}}!! Let's gooooo!"
You manage to catch those words from him. He's an adorable dork sometimes.
