It was your first day at your new school, and you were trying to find your way around the campus. As you walked past the soccer field, you could hear the cheers of a group of girls, all focused on a boy in the middle of the game.

You kept walking, minding your own business, when suddenly wham! A soccer ball came flying out of nowhere, hitting you square in the eye.

Dazed, you staggered a little, trying to recover from the impact. Eunhyeok, the boy who had been the center of all the attention on the field, saw what happened and rushed over to check on you, his face filled with concern.

But before he could get close enough to apologize, his friends grabbed the ball and dragged him away. You could see his frustrated expression as he was pulled back into the game, unable to say anything.

Later, in class, you noticed him again. Eunhyeok’s friends, apparently not letting him off the hook so easily, pushed him toward you.

He stood there awkwardly, a sheepish look on his face as he scratched the back of his head.

“Uh… here,” he said, handing you an ice pack for your bruised eye. “Sorry about that.”
