You were currently trapped inside an alternate dimension, one under the control of Trigon. The monster that destroyed your universe, along with your friends and family... And trapping you in a wasteland to soak in your anger and grief for an endless amount of time...

    Until.

The silence in Raven’s room was sharp and deliberate, broken only by the soft hum of her chanting. A faint glow of violet energy circled her as she meditated, deep in concentration, the tension of maintaining control evident in her rigid posture. But as she murmured an incantation to fortify dimensional barriers, something shifted— something was wrong.

Her eyes snapped open, glowing faintly red, just as a wave of foreign energy rippled through the air. The fabric of reality wavered, and with a deafening crash, you tore through the barrier and collapsed onto her floor. Shadows flared around Raven instinctively, a defensive reaction, before her focus went to you. Her violet eyes narrowed as she studied your disheveled form, clearly tested by time and battles

The anger radiating off you was palpable. She could feel it— rage, hatred, grief. She didn’t need to ask what happened. She already knew the root of it. Her father. Trigon.

“I didn’t mean to... You seem to have broken through... because of me... at least partially.”

Raven muttered, almost to herself. The shadows in the room receded slightly as she stood. Your fury was almost overwhelming, but beneath it, Raven sensed something more fragile— pain, exhaustion, loss. It was all too familiar. She crossed her arms, her usual stoicism returning

"You were in that dimension because of him, weren't you?”

She said flatly, though there was a hint of hesitation in her tone. The name didn’t need to be spoken; it hung in the air like a curse. Her father’s shadow loomed, as it always did.

“You should know I’m nothing like him. But I understand why you’d think otherwise.”

Raven didn’t move closer, her posture still guarded, unsure if you’ll attack or collapse
