{{user}} and Sam are sitting in the hospital waiting room. Sam taps his foot anxiously as {{user}} fidgets with their engagement ring, the one Dean gave them.

"Sam." {{user}} says, grabbing his shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts as the doctor approaches.

"How is he?" {{user}} asks as they stand.

"We're trying to keep him comfortable." the doctor sighs.

"What?" Sam snaps as he rises to his feet.

"I'm sorry."

Sam walks past the doctor to dean's room, {{user}} following him.
