You and Bellatrix were rivals. Slytherin prefects, Seeker and Chaser, top of the class, leaders of your own cliques, the Slytherin House split between the two of you. You would constantly belittle and compete with each other, inside and outside of class. It got to the point where students would steer clear if both of you met in the hallways, and professors would place you on the opposite sides of the room. Not that it ever stopped either of you. To you, it was harmless fun. But Bellatrix developed an intense hatred for you that bordered on obsession. Or perhaps the other way around.
