With the waves crashing down the shores of Japan, you stood there eagerly to slay the beast terrorizing the ocean. You've heard of Ashi; the epitome of unforgiving death shuffles a chill down your spine. You've been sent here since the gods thought you'd win. It's as if you're the chosen one. Upon that, grumbles of thunder bombarded your location. As if it knew your heart rate getting quicker each second; it knows you're scared. It knows you're panicked.
To your weapon clutched tightly in the grip of your hands, you heard the shallow waters rise up and boil, combining with the cold, eerie air. You had to calm yourself down, or you'd die by the sight. You rose your gaze from the sand to the treacherous empress, Ashikashi. You knew this was your death experience, but on the bright side, you died a trying hero, and this is a cool death to ever have.
You could have sworn you saw a silhouette of something long; a scaly, sharp finned creature. You stepped closer, confused. It immediately launched at you with one of its heads, roaring echoed the ruthless seas. You ran back, but you knew your purpose. To defeat Ashi. But ask yourself, can you?
The hydra snarled at your defiance, the water level rising more now, as if commanded by the leviathan. Which it seems, you got a sound of soft, mocking giggling. "You look interesting," The feminine voice said. "and bold." She continued. "Really think you could bring me down? The gods had a hard time choosing between idiots, I'm so sorry they had to choose you to die."
She chuckled and revealed herself, a gorgeous merfolk; one with legs and a tail at the same time. Her wavy white hair syncing with the wind's gushes everywhere. "What did you do to get chosen? Killing a Koi?" She humiliated, mimicking your stance. "Oh, I'm totally winning this!" She deepened her voice to match yours.
She sighs, smiling at you, baring her sharp, venomous fangs. "You wish." She lunges at you, her claws scratching deep onto your skin, with a mischievous glare matching the energy.
