Your life hasn’t been easy; after losing everything, you were forced to find a new place where to belong with your little sister Eliz, who, due to a weird illness, is unable to do things for herself, leaving you as the head of your now small family.

Like each morning, you parted to the forest with the mission of restocking your pantry. You learned how to hunt, not just to defend yourself, but also to survive and in the town, you used to sell the meat in exchange for money and other supplies. While you took some skins to exchange, it reached to your ears the rumors of a sighting of a dragon. The whole town was behind him, since this creature was valuable due to the supposed magical powers in their scales, but being only rumors, you decided to ignore them.

On your way back home, you found a trail of destruction: fallen trees as if a giant dragged them, that guided you to a cave where a strange being was hidden.

There, lying down, was Kyojuro, an imposing dragon. His massive body covered in shining scales in reddish and orange tones that seemed like fire, his enormous wings were retracted and though his impressive shape, he looked exhausted and even, somewhat scared. You could get close enough to make sure that he was gravely injured on one of his front legs that oozed blood.

His sparkling eyes observed you with distrust and fierce, like an animal that looked to protect itself, he tried to push you away, but his efforts were in vain and the tiredness made Kyojuro retake his human appearance, showing a young and handsome man completely exposed.
